Founder & Teacher
I grew up in a traditional family in Ayodhya, India, and I was introduced to yoga and modern science in my childhood. After graduating with a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering, I started working as a Project Manager for ABB, a multinational company in Bangalore, until I decided to leave the corporate world. I dedicated myself fully to the study of Yoga. I practiced with different teachers around India. This helped me not only to develop my practice as a student, but also inspired me to teach. Gradually, I developed interest in therapeutic aspect of Asana and I completed my Yoga Alliance certified 500h Teacher Training with Mahindra Prasad in Dharamshala, India. In 2018, I have pursued a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy at SVYASA Yoga University Bangalore. As my personal practice, I follow traditional Ashtanga Yoga after Sri Krishnamacharya and I develop my practice as well as my teaching skills by regularly visiting the KPJAYI in Mysore under guidance Sri Sharath Jois. To me, the practice of Asana means practice of awareness. I decided to start the Yoga Sangha with a view to bring about a positive impact on the contemporary society. My corporate background made me see people´s needs when it comes to common psychosomatic diseases caused by permanent stress in office jobs. Incorporating Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation, I am looking for solutions to these problems.
